130 usd for a battery is almost free in this economy, At least here in Lithuania, M4 battery is 250 euros which roughly is 300 usd, and it is without labor just original battery itself.
For reference the most repairable laptop, the framework, will cost you from $99 (refurbished 2.2k screen) up to $249 (new 2.8k screen) and for the battery $69 (framework 13). Granted it'll be much easier to fix by urself but not much of a price difference than I expected (if you want a new, highest quality screen).

Honestly, is the battery pricing that bad? For example, on Parts People (the GOAT for Dell replacement parts), OEM batteries for newer laptops (for example, the Dell Latitude 5430) are around the $130 range.
