One thing I learned from my time in Korea is that there's no such thing as bad Hotteok. Glad you got to try so much food! I'll have to keep an eye out for those meatballs next time I visit.

you can definitely eat them by itself but those aren't necessarily supposed to be appetizers. You eat them together with the rest of the meal.
