I’m on a mission to find the BEST fish and chips in London! But tell that to a Londoner, and you’ll spark the fiercest battle in the UK. Why? Because "the best" means something different to everyone. Some want that nostalgic, old-school crunch cooked in beef fat. Others want it served with a pint in a classic British pub, and sometimes, you want pure luxury. You can't crown just one winner—so my friend James and I are breaking it down into 4 categories to finally settle the debate of where to eat the best fish and chips in London! From historic chippies to Dover Sole at Corenucopia by Clare Smyth, this is the ultimate fast-paced London food tour. Brilliant to see James on one of these videos, he has the best London food content !
Lobster mousse, Dover sole fish and chips sounds so luxurious and creative. I like people who can think outside the box like that and elevate a working class man’s supper to something more special.
Everything tastes good for him even if it doesn’t let’s be honest
Nice to see someone enjoying a British fav!
Mark fits in so well, he blends into the decor 21:40 lol Glad you enjoyed the fish n chips. At least that's one thing we Brits can be proud of.
thank you good sir for the video made my day.
I love that you call them 'crispies' I really think you'd love Scotland!
frying in beef tallow, absolutely glorious
While I understand that food critics have a role in wealthy countries, I find ordering 3 plates for one person when so many people in the world are dying of starvation sends the wrong message. One dish would have been plenty enough. I hope none of the food was wasted.
I enjoy your improvement on speaking on film 👍makes watching enjoyable finally 🙏
Mark the OG of food travel on YT...Legend!
Man like James had to get the call up for a Chippy vid. love it!
I quickly write down the restaurant’s name on my note for my next London’s trip! Looks so yummy!
im so glad u dedicated an entire episode to fish and chips. universally loved.
Awesome collab! James knows his fish n chips. 🙌🙌
Nice presentation Mark. Now in my 70s previously living in Northern England, I recall the olden days (!) when all fish & chips were cooked in beef dripping. Cheap as well back then.
Hey, it was good to see you at the gelato place in Borough Market, I was riding past you on a big BMW scooter!
Shout out to my man Mark I've been watching him for years ULTIMATE DREAM JOB
Reminds me of Captain D’s fast food here in US. Folks from Tennessee will know what I’m talking about.
I went over to London in January of this year specifically to try burgers and fish and chips. The George’s fish and chips was the best I’ve ever had in my life.
