Yesterday, I received notification that IDFC Bank will be undergoing maintenance and that many app functions, including transactions, would be unavailable.
Indian banks safety measure is to force the customer to remember 5 unique passwords for login and fund transfer, the passwords has to be unique from the last 3 passwords used, website logout within 2 seconds on being inactive, close netbanking after 12am, make them go from one counter to another for one service. In short, harass the customer and make their life hell, the more difficult to use, the better claim to security.
No worries as most govt offices either use ledger or old computers that cannot run AI.

In the meantime, Indian banks might be able to use real time/multi-layer authentication for transaction control and better encryption during the data access/transfer phase. AI can no longer be stooped, so it's better to integrate advanced IT in Indian banking sector as a defence/ cybersecurity strategy.
If AI is dangerous then why worldwide governments are allowing it advance further???
