If you want to break into AI or level up your AI career in 2026, and you're trying to figure out which certifications are actually worth your time and money, this video will save you from wasting months on the wrong things. A certification alone will not get you hired in 2026. What might actually get you hired is a certification plus real projects plus the ability to walk into an interview and speak confidently about tradeoffs in production systems. That's the combination. That's the game. Certifications are accelerators, not substitutes. Use them intentionally. Use them to structure your learning and signal platform fluency. But pair them with building, shipping, and explaining architectural decisions out loud to someone who can challenge you. In this video, I break down the two types of certifications (indirect vs direct contributors), which ones actually move the needle by platform, and how to choose based on where you are in your career right now. Which certification are you considering? Drop a comment below. And for my YouTube family, I am giving an exclusive 10% discount. Link is in the description. This is not just for software engineers and AI engineers. If you are an AI PM, a PMM, a go-to-market expert, or in any adjacent role building AI products, this is for you too. Being technical is no longer only an engineer's thing. Every week you will be working on real projects in two flavors: coding and SDK-based for engineers, and no-code or low-code for tech leads, PMs, and everyone else. https://maven.com/aishwarya-srinivasan/mastering-ai-agents?promoCode=EXCLUSIVE-YT

Hi Aishwarya, Let me be genuine of this video, you are explaining it to beginner, but explaining very wide and technically deep concepts, for audience we are not able to tap on what u r saying, because u instantly switch it with other topic by not giving more time to explain on what u were explaining, n number of topics , u read out the headlines and suddenly switched the context and then as a mentor you can highly recommend one fixed roadmap...,like do all these to become a proficient AI engineer, u can have default roadmap which is also a POC for becoming a better engineer, but u give 100 options and for audience it becomes extremely confusing and with no directional. You can keep one default and then u can fine-tune based on the needs and interests. But I didn't see an roadmap of direct and indirect learnings. Literally everyone says contribute open source ..create POCs . But still i appreciate ur efforts.,
Adding a relevant note that - AI-102 is about to be retired on June 30, 2026 and will be replaced by the Azure AI App & Agent Developer Associate (AI-103)
The courses mentioned in the description should keep all of our lives busy for the rest of our life. :)
Certification + real projects + explaining trade-offs hit me like a gentle slap from reality. 🤝 Now I’m rethinking my plan of collecting certificates like Pokémon and actually building stuff.
Hi Aishwarya, Can you suggest certifications for beginners, which can build a strong foundation to learn and understand the platform certifications you discussed in the video?
It was a crazy useful video. You are seriously great.
Need to make another video in more detail step by step understanding not only for beginners but also for senior Trade finance and accounting professionals like me who want to switch their career to AI by utilizing their experience and align with the future market opportunities.
Yean correct Certifications are not equal to experience , but anybody wiling to learn can obtain certification with thier sincere effort, however Experience are difficult to get . It does not depend on us, it depend on the opportunity.
to get architect type of knowledge at a high level, which certification will be helpful or which course would u suggest to take up ? because I think now a days people are expecting such knowledge in real world
You nailed it Ashiwarya. Thanks. I hope age is not a barrier for peeping into AI. I hope to connect with you.
Hello Aishwarya , Thanks for the information can you make a video on imposter syndrome in the field and how to overcome it specially if you are are intermediate learner. Many people in this field facing the issue. It would be great help! ❤
Please note that the AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty certification was retired as of March 31, 2026. It has been replaced by the new AWS Certified Generative AI Developer - Professional certification.
, I watched your video at .75 speed to follow the flow. Your vlog content is exceptional but some of us get saturated with these new AI terminology within the first minute.
Hello Aishwarya, Can You please suggest certifications and relevant projects or a roadmap that an absolute beginners can take up who's currently transitioning from Core-Marketing to AI product management, that really helps, because there are so many resources, its confusing to pick the right one, You are Awesome ❤❤❤
AWS agentic and RAG chatbots are not enterprise scalable. You tend to focus lot on engineering rather than building smarter solutions with the actual AI. Azure AI is the way to go.
First watch at 10:31pm "Sunday 29th March"😂
Just discovered your channel and I'm very grateful! You're spreading super valuable information and are very articulate. As a recent grad navigating the start of my career I'm very grateful for this, subscribing immediately.
