We love putting our ‘Normals’ under pressure and throwing them into an Ultimate Battle. In this episode, we put them to the test by challenging them to create a fusion dish from two cuisines to see if their cooking can create the perfect marriage of flavours. Have a watch to see if they managed to pull it off! Get the recipes here... Mike needed that and his feast looked fabulous.
All of them looked amazing, but Mike did an amazing job turning a classic Sunday roast into a Moroccan Sunday roast infusion.
I think all three of those dishes would be absolutely bangin'.
Please do more of these fusion battles guys. Love them. ❤
One of the yummiest looking episodes.
I’d forgotten how much I LOVE the SASS that occurs whenever the Normals compete against each other!🤷🏻♀️🤣😂🥰
The way Mike and Baz started leaning in at 7:40 got me excited. 🤣 These guys are a trip!
The blooper was the best one I've seen so far 😂🤭😂 Sometimes Barry just comes up with total gold, on the spot. I could never do that. Amazing!!🏅
This concept would make a killer full-length TV series. Contestants spend half the episodes researching their assigned food traditions with chefs and experts, and the other half making their fusion dishes.
Jamie: It's classic but everyone loves it Also Jamie: **says the name of a dish I've literally never even heard if before**
I've missed these food battles! As much as I love the hilarity of the food review/ taste testing/ gadget testing videos, I feel like there's been less cooking/recipe videos lately? I really miss videos like cooking battles, mystery boxes and "3 Recipes Compared", just to name a few. Anyone else feel the same and would love to see more of those come back? :D
I think this has been one of my favorite battles so far, if mostly for the way they all acted during the judging. The camaraderie and genuine desire to share what they’ve made and please their friends with their cooking reminds me a lot about the best relationships I’ve had with fellow line cooks. It’s an amazing feeling to impress a customer with a dish of yours, but impressing a fellow chef that you love and respect? Nothing beats that feeling. All of their battles are hilarious and fun to watch, but I love when they take a break every once in a while and genuinely compliment each other’s cooking. You can tell how much it means to them. I think it’s why Sorted has been my favorite food channel for years.
OMG! Mike’s reaction to the dad joke of the week is straight up friend goals! 🙌🏻 Great job Baz!
It got wholesome at the end
Jamie : talking about Japan Ben : behind the camera ready to tell a story about his trips to Japan.
I love how supportive you guys are to one another... even in a head-to-head challenge, you give props to the winner!! This just underscores that you really are genuine friends. This American LOVES your show!!
The fact that Barry trusted Jamie when he said it looked clean and he could turn it out is honestly amazing
Thank you for that dad joke at the end 😂 I really needed it
A big old congratulations for Barry who told his first funny Dad Joke of the Week 🥳
This was truly one of my favorite episodes. I loved these creative and omg mouth watering dishes. I honestly thought Barry was going to win but, I understand the way it went down lol Congrats to you all. P.S WHEN is a KITCHEN APPLIANCE Company going to SPONSOR A KITCHEN MAKEOVER!? YOU NEED IT!!
