π ADVICE NEEDED
A woman had been dating her boyfriend for five years.
She had one person she trusted more than anyoneβher best friend.
She told her best friend everything about her relationship: their problems, their plans, even the things she had never told anyone else.
One day, her boyfriend told her he needed some space.
She was devastated and spent weeks crying.
Her best friend was the person who stayed beside her, listened to her, and told her:
βDon't worry. If he truly loves you, he'll come back.β
He did come back.
But not for her.
Six months later, she discovered that her boyfriend and her best friend were now together.
The worst part?
Her best friend had been secretly talking to him while comforting her.
She confronted them, and her former best friend simply said:
βI'm sorry, but we fell in love.β
The woman couldn't even find the words to respond.
She had lost her boyfriend.
But losing the friend who knew exactly how much he meant to her hurt even more.
Years later, she still struggles to trust people.
π If your best friend got into a relationship with your ex after comforting you through the breakup, could you ever forgive her?
Would you:
1οΈβ£ Cut both of them off forever?
2οΈβ£ Forgive but never trust them again?
3οΈβ£ Believe that love can happen unexpectedly, even between the people who hurt you?
What advice would you give her? π
