π ADVICE NEEDED
A woman spent ten years with the man she loved.
They started dating when they were young. They struggled together, supported each other, and promised that no matter how difficult life became, they would never give up on each other.
Eventually, the man became successful.
His business grew, he bought a new house, and suddenly everyone wanted to be around him.
Then he started treating his girlfriend differently.
He became embarrassed to introduce her to people because, according to him, βYou don't really fit into my new life.β
One day, she asked him:
βAfter everything we've been through, why are you ashamed of me now?β
He replied:
βI've changed. I want a different kind of woman now.β
She was completely broken.
She had stood beside him when he had nothing, only to be told she wasn't good enough when he finally had something.
She left without begging.
Two years later, he lost almost everything.
He returned to her house and said:
βYou're the only person I know who loved me before the money.β
She looked at him and replied:
βAnd you're the reason I learned that love doesn't mean you should stay where you're no longer valued.β
Then she closed the door.
π If someone abandons you when they become successful, should you ever take them back when they lose everything?
Would you forgive himβor let him live with his decision?
What advice would you give her? π
