I’m Starting to Wonder If I’m the Problem in My Relationships…
I don’t know if anyone else has ever felt this way, but lately I’ve been questioning myself.
Every relationship I enter seems to start beautifully. The calls are exciting, the conversations never end, and I feel like I’ve finally found someone who understands me.
Then, slowly, something changes.
I start noticing little things. The replies become shorter. The effort feels one-sided. I begin asking questions, wanting reassurance, and overthinking every little change in their behavior.
And somehow, I always end up being called “too much.”
Too emotional.
Too sensitive.
Too needy.
Too demanding.
So I started doing the opposite.
I stopped asking questions.
I stopped complaining.
I stopped saying when something hurt me.
I started pretending I was okay because I didn’t want to push someone away.
But that didn’t work either.
Because now I’m wondering…
Is it possible that I’m choosing the wrong people, or am I actually the difficult one in relationships?
Sometimes I look at people in happy relationships and wonder what they know that I don’t.
Maybe love isn’t supposed to feel this confusing.
Or maybe I’ve just never experienced the kind of love where I don’t have to constantly wonder if I’m enough.
Be honest with me:
Have you ever started questioning yourself because of how someone treated you in a relationship?
