π ADVICE NEEDED
A woman has been dating her boyfriend for four years. She has always been faithful and supportive.
Recently, she noticed that whenever they are together, he keeps comparing her to other women.
"Look at how she dresses."
"You should try to look like her."
"My friend's girlfriend is more understanding."
At first, she ignored it.
But one day, after she cooked dinner for him, he tasted it and said:
βMy ex used to make this much better.β
She finally asked him why he constantly compares her to other women.
He replied:
βI'm only telling you the truth so you can improve.β
She now feels like she is constantly competing with women who aren't even in the relationship.
What should she do?
β€οΈ Stay and communicate how it makes her feel?
π€ Tell him that comparison is disrespectful and set boundaries?
πͺ Walk away from someone who makes her feel like she's never enough?
Can a relationship survive constant comparison? What advice would you give her? π
