Episode 3: The Shocking Confession

Daniel took a deep breath.

"Ada... please, just listen. I know what you saw, but there's more to the story."

Ada folded her arms.

"You have exactly five minutes."

"I met her through work. We became friends. She liked me, but I never told her I had a girlfriend."

Ada stared at him in disbelief.

"So you lied to her... and you lied to me."

Daniel lowered his head.

"I thought I could handle it. I liked the attention. Every time we argued, I ran to her because she made me feel appreciated."

Ada felt tears fill her eyes.

"So instead of fixing our relationship, you started another one?"

Daniel nodded silently.

"I never planned for it to go this far."

Ada shook her head.

"The saddest part isn't that you met someone else. It's that you chose dishonesty over honesty."

Daniel reached for her hand, but she stepped back.

"I've been planning our future while you've been building excuses."

Just then, Ada's phone rang.

It was Daniel's mother.

"Ada, are you with Daniel? We've been trying to reach him. His father collapsed this morning and has been rushed to the hospital."

Daniel's face turned pale.

Without another word, both of them rushed toward the hospital.

As they arrived, the doctor walked out with a serious expression.

"Are you Mr. Daniel's family?"

Daniel nodded nervously.

The doctor looked at him and said,

"There's something you need to know... and it may change your life forever."
