π ADVICE NEEDED
A woman had been married for four years when her husband suddenly lost everything.
His business collapsed. He became depressed, stopped going out, and barely spoke to anyone.
She stayed.
She took care of the bills, encouraged him every day, and reminded him that losing money didn't mean he had lost his worth.
For two years, she carried the family while he tried to rebuild his life.
Eventually, he became successful again.
And that's when everything changed.
He started coming home late. He became secretive with his phone and stopped appreciating everything she had done.
One night, she finally asked:
βWhat happened to the man I stood beside when everyone else left?β
He looked at her and said:
βI appreciate what you did, but I don't want to spend the rest of my life being reminded that you saved me.β
She was devastated.
She had never asked him to worship her.
She only wanted him to remember that when he had nothing, she stayed.
She packed her things and left.
Three months later, he came begging.
But she had already learned something painful:
Sometimes you can help someone rebuild their life and still not be the person they choose to share it with.
π If you were her, would you forgive him and return?
Or once someone makes you feel unwanted after everything you've sacrificed, is it better to walk away forever?
What advice would you give her? π
