The Women Fishmongers Grant Empowerment Program under the Liberia Sustainable Management of Fisheries Project continues to make a measurable impact across coastal communities in Montserrado, Grand Bassa, Grand Cape Mount, and Margibi Counties. The grant scheme is being implemented by Conservation International with support from the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority through funding from the World. On the ground, beneficiaries are sharing inspiring stories of change. Through the program, women fishmongers are now making meaningful contributions to their household incomes and family well-being as a result of the empowerment opportunities created by the project. Here is a testimonial video produced by the Liberia Agricultural and Environmental Journalists Network (LAEJN).
