The 11 Australian activists who joined the Global Sumud Flotilla—and were illegally detained in international waters by Israeli forces— have returned home. They've brought with them bruises, injuries and allegations of abuse which have been covered widely by mainstream media. ABC’s 730 programme decided to interrogate these allegations in an odd line of questioning that felt more vigorous than the questions put to the Israeli ambassador about the same issue.

As far as I'm concerned the ABC have shown us loud and clear that they have no credibility wherever Israel or zionist crimes/lies occur
Sarah is the lowest of low "reporters". When do we get some actual investigation, rather than asking if a victim has evidence of abuse committed by the highest funded military per capita in the world.
You could tell ABC was scared to ask about injuries
Sarah F, what a giant collaborator she is… Here’s how Sarah congratulates herself on how she interviewed another SA survivor Gisèle Pelicot: “I don’t want to rate my interviews, but speaking to Gisèle was extraordinary, not only because of the nature of the details, but also her dignity and impact.” It seems that Sarah places the importance of the feelings of z10nists well above the dignity of SA victims What a fraud!
Yet they repeat the claim of mass grape by hamas on Oct 7th with absolutely NO evidence. Shame on ABC.
your facebook post on the 730 interrogation/interview - what a huge number of comments, with a flood of nasty stuff which failed to drown out the many sane comments. Love your work <3 Lest We Forget Zomi
If only there was some sort of colonial history in this country that could shine a light on why colonisers would cover for the crimes of other colonisers...
The Isis brides have avoided arrest for what?Australia recognises the al-Qaeda former leader and head chopper who is welcomed into the white house are there photos of the brides holding severed head like there are of the leader of syria.
If Sarah Ferguson had questioned the many zionists she has interviewed throughout the course of the genocide with half the zeal she displayed in her interrogation of Neve O'Connor, we might have maintained some faith in the very disappointing 7.30 Report.
The words "what I'm looking for" was a dead giveaway that this was not genuine good faith public interest journalism, but an inquisition to undermine & discredit the person being interviewed; the victim of an alleged abuser. A good interviewer is not about "looking for" [something that confirms a pre-established conclusion and biases] - but "looking at" or better understanding the person & perspective in front of them.
Fergo is an absolute hack, the genoslide has completely exposed her
Thank you ladies for exposing Ferguson and the ABC.
Perhaps it demonstrates that misogyny knows no gender
Absolutely bizarre
Others look like dreary automatons in comparison to Jan and Antoinette, lol. Articulate, perceptive, Intelligent and funny --Jan Fran and Antoinette Lattouf have outstanding minds this show should be on the ABC as well as Youtube, it would help make the world more civilized.
She was secually assaulted and they asked if she had the paperwork. This interview was disgusting.
Miri Regev made some truly awful propaganda using the activists as well.
In 1975, the United Nations General Assembly passed Resolution 3379, which declared Zionism to be “a form of racism and racial discrimination.” In 1991, under pressure from the administration of George H. W. Bush, the resolution was repealed. Around this period, right-wing governments also began gaining greater political traction in Israel. It’s apparently acceptable for Israel to engage in actions many people view as piracy and torture, yet governments still seem afraid to openly call Israel what critics argue it is: an apartheid state. Many legal experts and human rights organizations have accused Israel of committing acts that meet several criteria under the Genocide Convention — and despite that, people speaking out against these actions are often treated as the villains. Can someone explain why?
If anyone support the actions of the Israeli government, I believe they should seriously examine the moral implications of that support. It’s also important to acknowledge the historical record: before the establishment of Israel, some Zionist militant groups carried out violent attacks against British authorities and others in the region, including Palestinians. Denying these events ignore documented history.
It's clear the Australian mainstream media is bought and owned by the lobby, it's appalling and Ferguson is vile
