Cover the pot with a lid and seal the edges with wheat flour dough (atta). Cook on low flame for about 2½ hours or until the meat becomes tender and fully cooked. Carefully open the seal and serve hot with naan or roti. As a Kashmiri lekin dum pukht mei tamatar nahi daaley jaatey just aloo mutton ya lamb ka gosht aur charbi daaltay hain aur namak aur kaali mirch lassan adrak hari mirch lemon juice pyaz daalta hai bas.
