Located about 60km from Hat Yai, this town sits on one of the busiest land crossings between the two countries, connecting major highways and attracting thousands of cross-border travellers every day. But Dannok is more than just a checkpoint. By day, it feels quiet, almost empty. By night, it transforms — neon lights, food streets, massage parlours, and a nightlife scene shaped largely by Malaysian visitors crossing the border. In this video, I explore: Traveling from Chiang Mai to Hat Yai Crossing into this lesser-known border town Street food discoveries (fried rice, Yunnan noodles, Thai milk tea) Unique places like temples and themed hotels The contrast between day and night in Dannok Is Dannok really a “men’s heaven”? Or just a misunderstood border town? Why no information about what specifically makes Dannok a “Men’s Heaven”?
It's Liverpool, not manchester logo in your hotel room. Nonetheless, it is a very interesting video from you and a great journey. Btw, when will you be embarking for another SEA/SG-MY-TH trip again? I am exploring a road trip from SG to MY to TH possibly trying to hit Golden Triangle Border before my COE expires.
many pple know Dannok, just their wives dunno they go up there
so how is this a mens paradise?
Apart from the clickbait title, a wholesome travel report, mostly about food. I like food, too, but if you put up a title like that, you should also deliver.
The tile of this video should be - "I love the food in Dannok!"
The only sleazy thing I see is the love shaped chili bowl at the charsiew stall.. 😍
I liked your saying something is happening behind the doors and came back to the room........alone😂 hahaha
I am glad to hear that there is a place like Dan ok that can be visited. Long ago I had to do the visa run to Kota Baru. 😮 But now it's better, thanks for sharing.
Great review my friend I enjoy your positivity
Where is "Mens Heaven" bit. More click bate crap!
Even I am Thai, but never go to Dannok. Thank you for your vlog. It’s a good information indeed. 👍
Interesting video, but honestly… traveling all the way from Chiang Mai to Dannok for this feels pretty counterintuitive. Dannok makes sense if you’re Malaysian and live nearby — it’s basically a convenient escape, especially for guys looking for female company they can’t easily find back home. But if you’re crossing the entire country, the payoff seems really limited compared to places like Bangkok or even Pattaya. Feels less like a destination and more like a border stop with a very specific purpose. Not sure the ROI justifies 1,500 km 😅
For a few dollars more you can get a taxi from the airport to Danook
😮
Great!😊
Thank you for the trip to Dannok.
Very good video! Thank you!
Excellent excellent information and thank you sir 🙏🙏🙏
Ban Dan Nok is 3 words, located near the Malaysian border in Sadao District, Songkhla, Thailand. Found on Apple Maps but missing on Google Maps. Ban Dan Nok looks very hygienic and clean, with good roads, footpaths and drainage, similar to Malaysian towns.
