Growing up in Central, NY, my parents took my brother and I to all of these and 100's of other wonders of NY. I would ride my bike from Eastwood, (a Syracuse suburb) to Green Lakes State park every day it wasn't raining partially along the Erie Canal path. I spent years exploring Tug Hill and the Adirondac Park. The sights, sounds, smells and people are unmatched anywhere on Earth.
Living in Central NY, I have been to all these places and most of them more than once. They never lose their beauty.
There's so much to see in Upstate NY it's incredible. The Hell with NYC. I left LI for Upstate 48 years ago and Never looked BACK & never been happier.
I LOVE N.Y.....UPSTATE N.Y !
Watkins glen, letchworth, and the thousand islands, places I loved as a teenager and places I love taking my kids now. Watkins glen is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.
Taughannock Falls, also by Ithaca. It is one of the highest drop falls . Very pretty.
Howes cavern??? That place is like another world
NY is the prettiest place I’ve been to. If the taxes weren’t so high, I might live there
Growing up in the Hudson Valley has been one of the biggest blessings it's too bad New York state has changed so much politically.
Been to all of these, there's tons of hidden gems throughout the state. Chimney bluffs, the gunks, eternal flame, Catskill mnts, Hudson Valley, every region has treasures!
You missed Taughannock Falls. The highest falls east of the Mississippi River.
Upstate New York with the scenery and the history, and the food is the best. The taxes and the Politics not so much.
Cool! I think New York state is beautiful.
The area between Albany and Buffalo is the most beautiful place on earth. If the winter wasn’t so cold the whole world would be fighting to live there
And people ask why I haven’t moved away when I retired.
thank you! I live my whole life in NY. Not far from the lake. Might I also suggest a video on the Erie Canal.
Finger Lake region produces the world’s best box wine. That’s the fact.
who built the stone pathways? stone stairs? stone bridges? stone walls. i lived in birdsall , off grid, in the middle of hiltonville/ gas springs state forest for 25 years and letchworth was but a very few miles away and i visited often age has moved me to hornell, a tiny town. i am happy to see things like yours, reminding me of the beauty that i was / am surrounded by. thank you.
I own a large house on 30 acres... 4 miles west of Cooperstown in Hartwick, and a house on lake Otsego. Both are spectacularly beautiful.
