St. Augustine isn't just one of the oldest towns in FL. It's actually the oldest town in the United States.
After 30+ years in North Florida, I have been to most of these places. This year me and my son plan to visit some places we haven't been yet. This year we are looking to get down to Jupiter Island and check out the beaches and parks there. We e-bike the coastlines of all these barrier islands and we also do boogie board surfing every year in season. Florida is the best. I would not want to be anywhere else. Florida is my happy place and has been for over thirty years. I lived in California before moving to Florida. You can have California. I have no use for it.
Fernandina beach on Amelia Island is the best small town in Florida. The nicest people ! Beautiful - clean, beaches, Amazing restaurants. it is Paradise... we want to move to Amelia Island from Central Florida ASAP.
Respect the Locals.
I lived in Tarpon Springs in the early 2000’s. It was like the little Greece of Florida. At that time, it was a vibrant community, lots of outdoor activity, the sponge docks were vibrant. I went back with my husband a few years ago and it was a dump. 😞 It was nothing like it used to be.
I have lived in Dunedin for the last 10 years. If you have a dog, this is a great place to visit. There are many dog pubs as well. Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island are great to visit, very natural, clean state park. At least seven or eight craft breweries in town. Lots of restaurants. The Fenway while a bit on the expensive side has a rooftop bar, which overlooks the gulf and is great for sunsets, cool and breezy in the summer heat. Historical with most of the period architecture and rooms . Many restaurants within walking distance. Some free or close to free transportation as well. Countryside Mall, in nearby. Clearwater is a short Uber ride away and the international mall in Tampa is maybe 35 minutes away. For beaches alone, the panhandle is by far the best in my opinion.. renting a houseboat for a couple days and a jet ski in Key West is another good idea.
Who hasn’t heard of Palm Beach and St Augustine?!
What a great video very informative. I plan to make an itinerary to visit many of these locations. Thank you. I appreciate this video very much.
A very groovy tour guide to cool and cute small towns in Florida. I live in Florida, and I have to say you nailed it. Well done, well done indeed.
Florida's jems are safe from all the chaos because of Orlando's theme parks. Only normal, intelligent people go to all these beautiful jems. Florida is more then just theme parks. It's all about history and nature. Thank goodness the theme parks are only located in one city. Locals like ourselves enjoy the history and nature without the crowds of noisy family with their screaming kids. Real people enjoy the good life.
Love this channel. Thank you for your effort ❤
Great video. The way this woman talks is so funny.
I really love how this showed Florida as more than beaches and theme parks. Seeing all these historic streets, springs, island towns, and little coastal communities made me feel like there’s a whole different Florida I’ve been missing.
St. Augustine is THE oldest town in florida
LOVE FLORIDA! (But I really don't think I could get myself to go into the springs, as beautiful as they are, because I fear those alligators.)
I live in Palm Beach and I love it! I do enjoy Anna Maria Island and Alys Beach also!
Amelia Island is beautiful. Take a car trip on either coast of Florida-so many beautiful places.
Thank you for sharing this! I am moving back to Florida and have not been to many of those places! You make me super excited to move back! I saved your video for reference!!
Excellent video. I live in Mexico Beach and really appreciate the amount of work that goes into your videos.
What kind of drone are you using? Great footage!
