This is actually kind of sad. How do people find work if you eliminate all the human workers?? Creepy

Those vending machines wouldn’t last a damn week in American hoods. They’d get robbed blind or torn apart fast.

It is a Men's elevator because it is the way to get to the men's capsules. For women's safety they separate the capsules I'm sure

The hidden side of countries is always the most fascinating part. It’s the reason I love visiting and filming unusual places most travelers ignore.

The robots are fucking dystopian. You think that's cool? Look at the real cost. The job loss.

If that's Japan's slum then that has to be the cleanest and safest-looking slum I've ever seen.

The key is to not think youre living a long life it is just to keep living. In America living is a struggle to survive...so we are constantly thinking about how long we are living...by not living.

Separate male elevator goes to mens sleep area and female elevator to women's sleep area. Makes perfect sense.

First of all, I love the guy that is your friend for pay!! It’s an ingenious idea and I applaud him for providing that service!! He isn’t awkward, he’s providing a service. I’m sure he does have a personality !!! I felt bad for him he’s not pod to be on a personal level just to accompany someone who doesn’t want to be alone. I think he’s amazing ❤️

Thank you for this video…I wanna go back in Tokyo. I’m curious how you found this guy, the interpreter. It’s best to have someone that can show you the area.

Drew, next time you're there you should do the Tokyo Drift package thing they have.... they will take you drifting during the day & then at night they will take you to the car club meet-ups and races...& they let you drift during the day and they let u ride with them during the races at night. That would be an awesome video to make & watch!!

I was amazed by Japan, it was more foreign (to a Westerner) than any other country I've ever been in - including African ones. The food is exquisite and so are all of the conveniences, big and small (Canned coffee in a vending machine? Delicious!). The temples, parks, lovely design everywhere, were wonderful. The people are kind, uber-polite, but the public silence and seeming loneliness made me yearn for a little less discipline. I have thought about Japan more than any other country I've been in - except Italy - for all these years since.

You asking those homeless people question after question after being told they don't want to talk speaks volumes about you.

It's curious that you don't seem to visit any museums. I have traveled a lot and always enjoyed visiting the museums as an insight to the history and culture of the area.

One of the best videos I have seen that give you the true experience of Japan. As someone that hopes to visit one day.

We as humans can't fully depend on technology, they say for sufficiency but it causes human disconnection. That's what's wrong with the younger generations. Now with all that technology still doesn't solve the homelessness. 🙏😔 That's something to think about.🤔
