Another wonderful video! My husband and I already have a lot of go-to favorite places to eat but Im glad to see new spots you have in this video that we can try on our 3rd time in Istanbul this October😊 I hope next time you can include kavurma palces in European /Asian side. Kuzguncuk has the tastiest kavurma, we tried kavurma places in Grand Bazaar and Sirkeci but both was very disappointing. Thank you for your hardwork in helping travelers!

Isn’t the Semolina Helwa the same one served to guests when someone dies ? 😅 I see it always in Turkish TV shows, the exact same sweet . Correct? And if yes , why this one is served at someone death gathering?

For the whole video, I kept thinking that all of this fits my tastes perfectly, even though I probably shouldn’t be surprised since Turkey and Italy, especially Southern Italy, share a lot of common elements. I would have eaten everything! But the thing that gave me the most satisfaction was that spontaneous “ohh abi ” of absolute approval 🍯 😂

Hello. Sorry but the food in Turkey did not impress me. It was monotonous, without sauces, the kebab disappointed me... Of course tastes are different. Food, coffee and drinks are expensive too. Only in Istanbul is public transport cheap. Tickets in the establishment are too expensive... What bothered me the most in Istanbul was when people stood in front of restaurants, then became bored and said Come to us, the food is the best.... and my wife and I fell for it.... the food was terrible and the price was too expensive. Otherwise I enjoyed Istanbul... my wife and I had a great time.... and some other cakes, baklava and the like, around 25 euros per kilogrammmmm.... an ice cream scoop 200 lira, and for you in Turkey that is very expensive, there is no offer for diabetics, nothing but very very expensive.

Thank you for the nice and informative video as always. Now I know much about street foods and what to eat next time I visit Turkey and specifically Istanbul. Of course not all of them are suitable to me, but most are, and look delicious and filling. I wonder how you could eat all those different kind of street food in one day and still you keep your good looking and fitness. I just would like to highlight two things and share with you some information about two kind of foods you have shown in your video and tried them yourself. The first one was what is called in Turkey "Ichli Kofte" , which is pretty much a Syrian or Lebanese kind of food very famous in Aleppo and Damascus and Its called "Kibbeh" of course not Kofte because Kofte or Kofta is purely Meat of different shapes and kind of cooking, while Kibbe is Bulgur or "Burghul" in the Mediterranean region mixed with meat and spices and filled with minced meat, onion, some nuts and then fried or grilled or some times cocked in Yoghurt and called Kibbe in Laban (Yoghurt). The other kind of food which is a fruit you called it Green Blum but its original name is actually "Canerik" from the original Turkish name. The name is a combination of two Turkish words: Can, which translates to "life," "soul," or "spirit," and Erik, which means "plum". However, Your videos are very useful, lively and helpful for any visitor to Istanbul. Please accept my apologies for the long comments and observations and keep up the excellent job. Hove a good day you two.

In Bosnia & Serbia, Börek is with meat, and with cheese, it`s a pie. 😀

I went to Istanbul last week. It was very cold when I arrived, and I only had short-sleeved shirts, so I caught a cold. Two days later, the weather was warm like summer, but my throat hurt, and I couldn't eat much. The old city was expensive everywhere.😮‍💨
