My dad had a 99GL, same shade of red and also an A reg. It wasn’t a turbo, so not fast, but it was a really comfy long distance cruiser. I remember our local dealer in Fife had a demonstrator with those Minilite wheels.

I'm a Saab fan. Nice color, not one you see often on that model. I remember more earth tone metallics mostly. Yes a very cool car!

My dream conversion. Always said if I won the lottery, I would pay to have a 16v turbo lump installed into a 99 ( and have it restored ) by someone infinitely more knowledgeable than myself. It would have to have the 99 turbo orange velour seats though. Can't wait for the full reveal. 😍😍😍
