Problem is most average people cannot and will not be able to serve as cybersecurity agents as they don’t know Python or any other code. Some can and will learn it but many will not. Many jobs will test you to see if you have actual skills and SOC Analysts face tremendous pressure at work!

Waking up at 330 to be at work at 5 am to do manual labor for 10 hours for 40k a year is hard. Cybersecurity is hard too but making double and working remotely makes it a tinge easier.

I got a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security and couldn't get an interview. I switched over to supply chain and now manage a team of 25 people

Any trade you learn will be hard, most of us will be mediocre- average in our jobs, advanced if you put some serious time and effort, few will reach level of expert and even fewer who will have mastery and even then new stuff is constantly coming out. It’s a lifelong commitment!
