Careerist (the bootcamp I chose/USA Only) These courses are 4 weeks long, virtual and are 8pm - 10:30pm Sun- Thur (Eastern). They record their classes In case you miss any. yeaah sounds like the job for me, i dont mind being on call, if it means ion have to get up everyday working rotating shifts for 60hrs a week.
Thinking bout doing cyber security. Im a security officer right now working 70 - 90 hours and sometimes work on holidays, storms and with 4 hours of sleep
I get calls in the middle of the night from our employees - cyber often means on-call 24/7 especially when it’s blue teaming & for many organizations at every level.
This is good to know
There are so many people in this department in my school. We happen to be the most populated in the school.
oooOoooO my christmas break is interrupted for work.. still making six figs and dont have to report to an office
Love this! Great content
For the most part i love this field. Everyday i learn something new and ive been in the field about 11 yrs now. The biggest downside is the stress. It can be high stress most days.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and insight into the cybersecurity world. This was a great interview. I have gone back and forth with the idea of completely changing my career of being a dental hygienist to transitioning into cybersecurity. You have made the decision much easier. 🥰🥰
Your tutorial helped me a lot, thank you!
Bro yes, good to see positive black kings on that Tech Journey ascending to new heights instead of stereotypical non careerlike - careers
What was his starting salary in the cybersecurity field? How long did it take him to reach $200K?
So I could be in Switzerland if I wanted to and if a problem came I can go on the balcony and do the work there😅😅, sound nice ngl
Not everybody is built for this work. Being on call is hard for family members. I carried a Togo bag in my car because there were times that I had to catch a flight to resolve an issue on a moments notice. But I loved the job.
I'm with it.
I'll take that call any day 😂
Awesome
“Sayless give me 5 minutes”
no job has all pros, every job will have it’s hard times, I feel fundamentally interested in this topic so I’m gonna keep studying it !
Sounds interesting 😊
