"Designers are cooked" That's what everyone keeps saying. I think the opposite. I think designers can now cook and this video is the proof. Anthropic just launched Claude Design. We heard about it 45 minutes before hitting record, so naturally we tested it live with ZERO preparation. Me and Can Hoskan gave Claude Design one prompt: redesign the 02UI website using a design reference and a single MD file. No follow-up or tweaks... Just ONE shot. Then we ran the exact same brief on Lovable so we could compare fairly, same conditions, same context. What came out of Claude Design genuinely stopped us mid-sentence. In this video you'll see: • How we built the brief using a screenshot, Perplexity, and a MD file • The full Claude Design output from a single prompt using Opus 4.7 • Lovable's result from the same brief, side by side • The workflow that actually makes sense: Claude Design to Figma to design system • Our honest, unfiltered reactions to both — no agenda Time stamps: 0:00 First reactions to Claude Design 0:16 What Claude Design can actually do 1:32 The test: one prompt, my own website 2:08 How we built the brief (screenshot + Brief MD) 3:04 Running the same brief on Lovable — fair comparison 3:41 Claude Design starts generating (Opus 4.7) 7:17 First look at the result 9:29 Lovable result — side by side Follow us on: https://www.youtube.com/@zerotoui https://www.instagram.com/zerotoui https://www.tiktok.com/@zerotoui https://www.linkedin.com/company/zerotoui/ https://x.com/zerotoui Follow Can Hoşkan: https://www.linkedin.com/in/canhoskan/ Work with us: https://www.miragraph.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/miragraph/ What you will see in this video: • Side-by-side Claude 4.6 vs 4.7 on the same design task • What "more Apple" actually means when you look closely • Where the new model takes initiative (and where that hurts) • The UI issues hiding under the nicer-looking output • Why prettier is not always better when you are building real products Recently added videos: Claude 4.7 vs 4.6, which one designs more like Apple?https://youtu.be/sbE4qNxxSUo How a Designer Actually Thinks (Paper to Figma to Lovable) https://youtu.be/uy6h9AKfPBM?si=y0yffbL1TuQBshtI Figma Skills Setup for Designers (No Terminal Required) https://youtu.be/LNuA1PF_MHU 02UI website: https://02ui.com Support us with Affiliate links: https://02ui.com/affiliate Part 2 is coming on the channel. I’d have like to have seen what lovable design option produced. Also can you elaborate on the .md brief doc you generated also with Ai? Thanks guys this is real eye opener
This helper push the bar up for designes to being more creative and create new experiences.
eu trabalhava fazendo sites, 20 anos atras, depois troquei de area. oq ele fez em 10 minutos me levaria MESES 20 anos atras. MESES!!
I used Claude Design the other day, it was one of the most underwhelming technical experiences I've had lol. I used all my tokens creating a test 2 page website, importing an existing design system and asking it to delete a random icon that it put in the header bar and then they had the audacity to say I had to spend $150 bucks to unlock more tokens. I just canceled my subscription instead.
Amazing video. Please share the md instructions.
Impossible to watch at normal speed. Holy moly talk about dragging things out😊
did i just hesr wordpress theme

Great video! I’m curious, how detailed was the design example you gave them? Does that have a big impact on the result?
Amazing video! is it possible for me to get the or refer the .md files that you fed claude with?
im just looking 2 random guys looking for new pair of shoes to buy for upcoming Christmas
I am not a designer nor a coder, but I am an artist. Artists can cook.
I'm not sad about this at all. I think this is amazing, and subsequently will require us as designers to be more intentional with our approaches and description. I think this is so fun.
Claude is super amazing. I'm wondering how the landscape will be in 10, 20, 50 years.
How did you write the md? Can you make a video on it?
To me the question with this new technology is what will be the role of Designers moving forward? I've been having conversations with other fellow Product Designers and everyone seems to agree Designers are becoming PMs with taste and the general opinion I hear is that "the designer role now will be to enforce their taste onto the output to scale design and push the aesthetics forward". I'm not so hyper positive about it at the moment though but I see their point. Personally, and specially when it comes to aesthetics, I think experimentation on the pixel level is where the magic happens, if the AI is giving you the starting point, I feel we might be loosing some creative opportunities in the process. In other words, I don't think Glass UI would have been born from a UI prompt, it probably came from someone trying different filters and testing them against different browsers and contrast and suddenly they felt it was translucent not from thinking "I'm going to create a glass-like UI". I'd have to research that to be sure though, hahaha
I'd love to see how you created that MD file. What did you prompt for it?
Loveable uses Vite/React so uses CSR as standard to building a content driven website would be crazy as not of the content will be seen by Google or LLM’s
Thank you for such a pleasant and relaxing presentation. After trying out this tool, I have to say its possibilities are interesting, but I'm facing a major problem regarding credit consumption, which I don't think you mentioned. I ran four prompts: - first to create a simple four-screen mobile app, - second to add a bottom bar, - third to use the correct logo, - and fourth to add a contact page. As a result, 75% of my weekly subscription credits are already gone. This alone makes using Claude Design unfeasible in my workflow. Have you run into the same issue?
