Why does it feel like we are living in the HG Wells Time Machine timeline timeline right as the overlanders (us dependent on frictionless AI systems) are about to separate from the rest of humanity that decides to continue working anyway, even if it means literally entering into an underground economy of bartering.
This reads a lot less like “we’re making the world a better place”, more like “buy into our hustle”. 🙄
