I used to believe only Western countries had “real” innovation. After traveling through China for 3 weeks… I was wrong. From Beijing to Shenzhen, what I saw was decades ahead.
We should have realized this long ago: The more you try to isolate China, the more self-reliant it becomes. This isn’t a failure of sanctions—it’s a failure of Western imagination.
A friend of the familys' daughter taught English at Elementary Schools (US equivalent) in China for 4 years and returned just after the long COVID-19 lock-down they had. What was amazingly striking to her was the intelligence, discipline, diligence, well-mannered, polite, chivalrous, "incredibly booksmart for their age", etc., traits of these kids and that they are light years ahead of the Western World's equivalent. China is now reaping, and will continue to do so for many generations, what they sowed.
For generations China has invested heavily in STEM fields. These investments have been bearing fruit for the past 5-10 years. Education, perseverance, a reverence for science/tech, and a lot of foresight have made China the World's new superpower and tech giant.
Excellent technology development. China is advancing fast and very fast on all fronts. China is a blessing and benefactor to the world. Well done to the team 👍❤️🇨🇳
This isn’t about whether China is “ahead” or “behind.” It’s about a shift in how the future is being built. While others debate guidelines and publish roadmaps, China is already deploying tech at scale—flying taxis, factory robots, 7nm AI chips, even brainwave communication devices. These aren’t just prototypes. They’re products. What strikes me most is the speed—and the coordination. From hardware to algorithms, quantum to biotech, it feels like we’re watching a country industrialize the future itself. Quietly, but relentlessly. So here’s my question to you all: Do you think the world is truly prepared to operate in a global tech landscape no longer led by the West? Let’s go beyond surface-level takes. I’d love to hear your thoughts—whether you’re optimistic, cautious, or skeptical. 👇 Drop your comments below.
USA will be 100% LGBTQ and DEI superpower in 2030....😂😂😂
Greetings from Pakistan
Five thousand years ago, when Trump's ancestors were running around Europe in bear skins, China had a well developed civilization, with agriculture, artisans, philosophers, written language and a stable form of government. Many European "inventions" are based on Chinese science and manufacturing. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, China has helped many countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America and other countries with infrastructure construction and economic assistance.
❤ China ❤
YEA CHINA! 🏩

My income is remote so im seriously thinking about moving. China has 50k km of high speed track. America? 34....Chinas subways look like dam malls lol. Americas? Dumps. Smh man
China will be the first country to reach type I Civilization.
This is the way to go, benefiting mankind, building a better future instead of wars that only cause misery.

con thấy đám tang của Vinh hẳn hoi luôn và họ mặc đồ đỏ đen để đọc kinh thánh cầu nguyện trong cái mớ hỗn độn của phật giáo việt nam...
