At Burbank Intl. Airport, the #2 airport in Los Angeles after LAX, they had no baggage office back in the day. They lost my bag, and when I tried to report it at the ticket counter they wanted me to wait in the ticket line which was at least an hour long. I said very loudly and clearly "NO". Just two letters, but they could tell what the next four would be, and a manager took me aside and took my missing bag report. The bag was at my front door the next morning.
