A lot of people would love to snag some gum. I also would not put it in a little box of tampons because any female thief would take those. Instead, I would take a big winged pad, unfold it, stick the apple tag inside and then roll it back up so that it possibly looks used. That would be something they likely wouldn’t touch.
What would be the point in doing that on a carry on?
