Fair few nit-pickers in the comments but my take away from the video is skip the tourist trap ox-tail (how does one mess up slow cooking? I thought that was impossible) and go straight to the pistachio tiramisu because what a combination of tastiness!

Actually I left my heart in Rome in 2015, everything about the city is so freaking amazing- the culture, the people, the food.....As someone who studied history at university I was in HEAVEN. I think the happiest I ever was was after doing a 3 hour cooking class (also near Via Argentina, where Caesar was assassinated as you mentioned!) that turned into a 6 hour booziest with the chef (apparently an Italian celebrity chef), rolling down the stairs onto the street completely pissed and somehow making my way up Palatine Hill and keeping well away from the edge of the marathon area of the Forum trying to find my way back to the subway lol!
It would be fun to see you take a trip through Sardinia, Italy.

You're absolutely right about the schiacciata. One of the biggest problems we have is filling our bellies with schiacciata before the actual meal arrives. If done properly, it's practically irresistible.

Mike 😂 never accept suggestions from waiters, its usually the "Day Dish" which is made from things thare are going bad, at the pantry, and leftovers from the kitchen.
