Being Indian I would never eat if someone gives me ice with hand. And such big blocks of ice is generally not possible with bottled water.

Random advice: you can always ask the street seller to avoid the ice Try to avoid ice A) it's most probably (100%) tap water ice B) ice leads to less quantity of good stuff (falooda)
