Is it genetics? I can’t lose weight to save my life, unless I’m on the carnivore diet. 2 chicken breasts & 2 protein shakes per day, and I still have a beer belly. Once I introduce a carb, even a single steamed sweet potato per day, I gain 10lbs/2wks.

I've sort of started meal prepping. On my work days I fry up some beef patties in the morning, so I can just grab and go. Great way to stay locked in, and not eat out as much

Assuming you’re talking 100 grams uncooked rice? I’ve been eating half a cup (about 100g) with every lunch, and holy cow does having consistent carbs make a difference with energy/recovery
