You can hard boil eggs in an air fryer as well! That’s what I do when I make them! it takes some finessing for timing and stuff but it’s doable. Might be something to try while not having water. There’s Lots of “recipes” online with temps/timings 😊😊

Ring up maybe do paper plates while you are out of water. Less dishes.

Water heater. If you close off where the water would come up from to prevent anything coming into the already resting water you can use that. Ours holds like 40 ish gallons and you can use it in emergencies.

If you all have a truck think about getting a 300 gallon tote that you can fill at the fire station. Our local fire station is only like $1.75 for 300 gallons. It's a good back up

Oh no!!! Spending a couple of days without running water changes your perspective on things! Living in PR has taught me that I can flush the toilet and wash my face and ah$ and brush my teeth with 2.5 gallons of water. 🇵🇷🌺 Luv from one resoursefull queen to another.

Where I live, we run out of water a lot. When that happens, the kids and I eat a lot of bread and crackers so kudos to you for having some more variety in food than that. I got a pair of 7gallon water containers though so that helps especially for showers and cooking. I save the big containers from fabric softener and the occasional 5litre bottles of water I buy for us to drink when water runs out and use those bottles for dishes and toilet.

I’ve been there! Our well pump got hit by lightning. We have a creek on our property so we just boiled the water and used it for everything but drinking. It’s funny how creative you can be with cooking when you need to be. Our power was out and we were heating the house with a kerosene heater so I used leftover chicken and made chicken soup on top of the guard around the heater.

I know this feeling. The day after my dad left for a 1.5 week vacation our pump went out. I also have family across the street. So it’s worked out. Hopefully it’s not a whole new pump.

Shut off the well with the breaker that goes to it and turn it back on and turn every faucet on let it run for second stop run it every 30 mins are well does that

Wake me up at 6 months without water it was while we fought the insurance companys it was so crazy boiling water to do basic things. Give me a lot of appreciation for when people didn't have plumbing. Cuz buckets from the river to boil and filter to be able to do stuff in your house is crazy.....
