Liked this version. I had seen the FL version before, and finally found a male one. Liked these stories as the ML did not care at all about his family and their actions. He decided to stay long enough to pass his tests and then leave

Honestly, they could hear his thoughts and still they sided with the scheming son. Such an incompetent family.

Truthfully the concept is good but the execution sucks, its great to had a ML or a FL ignore the drama of a fake heir and focus on themselves, but whats the point of giving the family the ability to her his thoughts if their just going to remain bias with the ML, also the ML is way to naive, yeah its great that his focused on his studies, but having him settle for a civil servant jobs is extremely underwhelming, they least the should have gone with him being a tech wiz or developed a cure for an illness, something that would make a real difference, being the director of a state run company isnt that much power to be bragging about, its not like his the president of China or something, but even that would have been better then what we got, this drama is a 4/10 while I like the concept the rest of the story falls extremely flat, especially with the unneeded gimmicks, its something new but not something to scream about
