My mom grew up in the Chicago area, and every time we have Portillo's shipped to us as a gift from family, she always tells us about how growing up, she never actually got Italian beefs there. Her family always got the hotdogs there, then went to a mom and pop shop for the Italian beefs. Great video!! I'm glad you enjoyed it all!

We call a Chicago style hot dog "dragged through the garden" I was born in Chicago and raised in the suburbs but have been a boat and bus tour guide. Honestly I would put ketchup on a hot dog if I was working with a plain hot dog but I would never put ketchup on a Chicago style hot dog and I think despite all the bravado a lot of Chicagoans would agree with me. So glad "Jalee" has been to the town I consider the most beautiful city on earth and am so homesick for while living in Los Angeles. Can't wait for you guys to post the rest of your Chicago videos presumably about pizza
