And I always have to keep it real with you. You just won’t find the same level of moistness and longevity in a scratch cake as a cake mix. Scientifically you just can’t. If chocolate just use the same recipe but add chocolate powder. You can also use ginger ale if avaliable. Otherwise sugar water
