The 2 main problems are A) The track is too narrow for those absolute BOATS of cars we have now B) the nordshleife, the upper part, is so long that it poses safety concerns since the medical car would take too long to come if there was problem

If 2026 regs raced at nurburgring the cars would be super clipping 80% of the whole track
The cars probably wouldn't have the durability to endure the ups and downs of the track due to how close they are to the ground. The roads are not gentle like regular F1 tracks and tires would have a hard time enduring a single lap.
