This is my honest review of MSC Poesia, based on a seven-night Northern Europe cruise sailing solo. This was the cheapest cruise I’ve ever taken, costing just over five hundred pounds for an inside cabin, and in this video I share what the experience was really like. I’ll talk you through how MSC does things differently, including embarkation and disembarkation, fixed dining times, service style, entertainment, and the overall atmosphere onboard. I also cover the Northern Europe itinerary, with long port days in Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, and Le Havre, and whether this type of cruise works if you prefer exploring independently. MSC Poesia surprised me in a good way, but it won’t suit everyone. This review is about setting realistic expectations, explaining where MSC differs from cruise lines like Princess, P&O, and Royal Caribbean, and helping you decide if this style of cruising is right for you. 🎥 Watch next: ▶️ MSC Poesia Dining Options – What’s Included & What Costs Extra https://youtu.be/rNsI37Ozzuk ▶️ MSC Poesia Ship Tour – Deck by Deck Walkthrough https://youtu.be/AE9aGx5-NAs ▶️ 10 Things You Need to Know Before Cruising on MSC Poesia https://youtu.be/2bjpSHknMx8 I’ve cruised with Princess, P&O, Royal Caribbean, Marella and now MSC, and travelled to over seventy countries. This was the cheapest cruise I’ve ever taken — and it genuinely surprised me. If you’re researching MSC Poesia or wondering whether MSC cruising is right for you, let me know in the comments. ▶ I’ve also done a full MSC Poesia dining options video, which explains how dining actually works onboard. And it’s linked in the description./rNsI37Ozzuk
Thanks! Watched this and your dining video, and looked closely at the menus. All my cruises (most solo) have been on Princess and I've been very pleased. But have been thinking of trying MSC or Costa some day, particularly in the Med, in view of the price. The menus look great. The entertainment looks fine. I'd be doing such a cruise for the itinerary and looking to the ship for a safe and comfortable place to rest my head, some evening amusement, and basic satisfying meals. Despite all the on line whining, both MSC and Costa look as if they might suit me just fine so long as the price is right. And actually, while I do enjoy the food on Princess, these MSC menus mostly have more selections that suit my taste. I'm a vegetable/pasta/fish guy and when I have meat I prefer braises over steaks and burgers.
Hey i have been looking at that Solo 7 night cruise but i cant get it for less than £800, how did you get it for £500
