I’ve worked in hospitality for over 20 years, and I very rarely comment on YouTube videos — but this one made me feel like I had to say something. Simon’s kindness at the end really stood out. “What you give is what you get” couldn’t be more true, and the positive energy he gave to the staff was genuinely amazing to watch. You could see how respected and appreciated they felt, and that says everything about the kind of person he is. What a fantastic bunch of people working on that ship — they should all be very proud of themselves. I honestly wish them nothing but the best. And to all the keyboard warriors leaving one-star cruise reviews… shame on you. That cruise was cheap as chips, and you definitely don’t get anything like that in the UK for the price. This video was a reminder of what hospitality is supposed to be about. Much respect to everyone involved. 👏
