My First Solo Cruise: Traveling Alone opened a door I didn't expect.

Traveling alone can feel intimidating at first — especially later in life. In this video I share the story of my first solo cruise and how an unexpected moment during dinner completely changed the way I see traveling alone. In the fall of 2021, while visiting my mother in Spain, I decided to take a chance and book a one-week cruise departing from Barcelona and visiting parts of France and Italy. It was during the COVID period, and I had never taken a cruise by myself before. On the very first night at dinner, something unexpected happened that led to a new friendship and a wonderful travel experience. What started as a simple mistake with a dinner table turned into a meaningful connection and eventually a trip together to the beautiful island of Sardinia. That experience taught me something important: traveling alone doesn’t necessarily mean being alone. In fact, sometimes it opens the door to meeting incredible people along the way. On this channel, Passport for Longevity: Worldly, Wise and Forever Curious, I share reflections and stories about longevity, healthspan, solo travel, and staying curious about life after 50 and 60. If you believe that life after 60 can still be full of adventure, discovery, and new friendships, you are in the right place. Stay curious. Keep moving. Keep exploring. — Rosa #solotravel #lifeafter50 #longevity #healthyaging #travelsolo
