Still not over the lack of updates made to the staterooms (and the bathroom)! That aside, the public areas and retreat deck look great! However most of the indoor spaces, while very nice, look very dark - furnishings, carpet, wood tones, lights. Are they that dark in person (like during the day) or was it because you filmed at night?
Thankfully, they did not remove the skylounge. I was disappointed when I realized they removed it from the edge class design. In fact , I still prefer sailing on the solstice and millennium class ships.😢
Just watched the full refurbishment tour, Adrian — that Sunset Park area looks fantastic. Having just come off Discovery Princess, it really highlights how well the Solstice-class ships are put together. Replacing the hot glass show and real turf with usable space like Sunset Park and Café Al Bacio-style areas just makes sense — somewhere people will actually spend time. Celebrity seem to understand flow better too. On Discovery, we were constantly waiting for elevators — it became a bit of a running joke. On Solstice, from memory, things just move more efficiently. And then there’s the Solarium — quiet, adults-only, no constant noise — still one of the best spaces at sea. Overall, Solstice feels designed with the passenger in mind. Discovery felt more pieced together. 👉 Based on recent experience, I know which one I’d be booking next.
EXCELLENT tour Adrian and thanks for taking the time to post up whilst you are still onboard. So exciting to finally see the new and very needed Retreat Sundeck (I'm sure it looks great in the daylight). Also, the newly renovated Michael's Club makes the space look a lot lighter. Although, it would have been better if Celebrity shifted Michael's Club to a location closer to the new retreat sundeck and with a sea view. We want it all!! LOL. Luminae looks the same but all the other new area's you showed have greatly improved this lovely Ship. We have sailed her many, many times and look forward to her new look. 😀
I absolutely love the solarium. It is so peaceful and relaxing.
If you compare the Solstice and the Summit after their refurbishments, says everything that the Summit looks way more modern despite being a much older ship.
I sailed on the Solstice 6 times before she was refurbished. She is my favorite of all the Solstice class ships. The sunset bar and passport bar looked great. Will be booking a cruise on her soon. Thank for a great video.
Sailed with Celebrity Solstice in Aprill this year. Ship was amazing, service was wonderful and the food was excellent everywhere we went. Highly recommended

Cannot wait to sail to Alaska in August on the Solstice. Excited about these changes. Silhouette was my favorite ship, but love what they’ve done with these spaces after the retrofit! I’m curious if anyone knows where the elite breakfast will be on this ship now. It was in Tuscan Grille before, but I see they have replaced that with Fine Cut Steakhouse, and looks like they have also reallocated some of that space for more room in Blu. Thanks for the tour!
Our first ever cruise is on Solstice in Nov Syd to Sing. Got one of the new Pano Oceanview rooms on the new deck 15, so have Retreat access. Having only just completed its second sail since the renewal, there has only been one guy with good videos on the the new refit. This is excellent, thank you. We can't wait, keep watching the countdown app on our phone for embarkment day!

I think she looks lovely. We were on her last June and looking forward to our return visit in May this year. I have absolutely no problem with the cabins and bathrooms. I like something with a warmer feel than some of the newer ships which look all gray and cold to me. I’m not sure what people expected them to do in those areas short of pulling it all out and putting all new in, which obviously could not have been done in the time set aside for this work. The new bedding and carpets, along with refinishing balcony rails, and floors give it a cleaner look. I’m excited to see the new areas, as well. The only thing I am sad about is that they took the Solstice deck and turned it into the retreat area. That was our favorite place to be while cruising Alaska and paying retreat. Prices is not in our comfort zone. Maybe some day.
I've done two Celebrity Solstice cruises. After this video of yours, more are on the cards. I love the traditional feel of the Solstice. I like the changes to the area where the Karaoke bar used to be. It was sort of a dead spot. With the extra bar it's gotta be a hit. The grassed area on top was under utilized. Better now with the cafe. I've always loved the back roof top bar. Quite often had it to myself. Great video. Got me excited to cruise again. Thanks mate.
Thanks for another great video. I suppose I’m a bit disappointed in what was updated from the hype from celebrity. Thought it would be a little bit more over the top and that maybe they would get the edge style bathroom bathrooms like millennium and Summit however the new Italian restaurant, sports bar and smaller theater reversal are fantastic. And of course, the lawn while cutting edge in the day looks so much better. We were literally on solstice two weeks after coming back in service after Covid. She was looking a little tired. But of course, if Covid hadn’t happened it was scheduled for the March 2020 for a I believe a more extensive renovation. Thanks again

I’m on board as well and appreciate the enhancements made in the refurbishment. A few teething issues as one would expect but overall a great job.
