With very innovative, amenity rich ships, this new cruise line also makes the existing lines feel a lot older and with a lot less to offer. However, this all doesn't come cheap and with a luxury price tag and lots of competition, join me as we board the Explora 2 and find out if it's worth the money. We once again convene for Jake's business expense'd vacation
Me who has never and will never set foot upon a cruise ship: "Finally getting the tea on Explora"
This might be the only video I've ever watched of a cruise where my takeaway is that it actually might be worth doing
you should totally do another explora cruise further down the line, if only to see if they get any better or fall victim to nickle and diming folks.
Man, it might be my hunger talking, but that whole buffet section may genuinely be one of the most appetizing clips I’ve EVER seen If I had the disposable income to splurge on such a voyage, it’d be the FIRST place I’d visit. Man, what a special place
They really need to get rid of that ai slop gallery 💀
Thanks for posting bro i was wondering what i was gonna watch during dinner tonight
Jake hating on AI.. gotta love when he does that :)
I've watched a lot of your cruise reviews; and I gotta say this cruise feels like one of the few that isnt actviely scamming you at every turn. Pretty sweet
Mythical "scrolling for something to watch while eating" pull.
Although I don't care for cruises, I always watch Bright Sun Travels.
Anyone else just waiting for Jevon to somehow be the bartender on this boat?
4:53: Are we just gonna bypass the fact that this may be the first time on this channel Emmy didn’t have the best sleep while Jake did, especially since Jake had once said Emmy could sleep anywhere?
I can't tell you how pleasant it is to see a cruise line primarily operating with the customer in mind. As someone who watches a probably unhealthy amount of cruise ship travel content, to see a cruise line operating without prioritizing constant up-charging, and with the room, food, service, amenities being so thoughtful… it was refreshing! The stock photo art in the cafe is a drag and not at all befitting of this class of ship/voyage. Overall, though, I'd say well done to Explora. I think that even in its current state, this could easily be considered the gold standard.
This video dropped right as I sat down with my Chipotle. God was looking out for me tonight.
That was the nicest basic cabin I've ever seen.
$7400 USD for both of you with all of that? A little on the expensive side, but not too bad considering everything you got and given it's a luxury line.
To be honest, 7,000 is not a bad deal for this, with the exception of the AI slop art in the cafe, and the mid-tier entertainment, this seems like it's genuinely one of the best cruise lines on offer right now, yes, it's still $7,000 whole dollars, but if you are going to go on one cruise ship you're going to want to make it this one
I imagine the "water sports" experience wasn't opened because the companies legal team identified what a nightmare it would be. Its way too risky.
Cabanas at no extra charge? Now I've seen the impossible.
