I'm with Suzanne on this one! My wife and I are Elite Plus with Celebrity Cruise Line. Since we're retired now, we need to push our dollars as far as they can go. Typically with credit card points we have earned free round trip airfare to various ports world wide and when needed free hotel rooms if we arrive a few days early or extend our vacation upon return from the cruise. A 10-14 day cruise is our preference and for the price of the Ritz-Carlton 3-day adventure, we pay less than that for 3-4 times the vacation. If we hit the lottery, maybe we'd try the Ritz but honestly, probably not. Great video as usual. Can't wait for your next adventure!

Just came back from a Viking Ocean cruise. The ship is not quite as small as this Ritz Carlton yacht (900 passengers instead of 600) and the food wasn't quite as fancy but food and service was still top notch for about a third of the price. The room we stayed in (penthouse veranda suite) was very roomy and all of the cabins are outside rooms with private decks. The spa area was our favorite with a warm pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, snow grotto(loved that!) and cold plunge. Plus two other pools including an infinity pool. We had a minibar that was restocked daily at no charge, coffee in room, 24 hours room service, and some really nice entertainment on board. Although we prefer the smaller River cruises, this ship experience was quite luxurious and reasonably priced. I've been enjoying your videos - looks like you both have such fun doing your "job"!

I'm Team Jeb on this one. If I were going to cruise 🛳 I'd rather do it on a smaller, more intimate ship rather than those jumbo cruises with thousands of people on board. I don't like big crowds unless I'm at a sporting event.

Good review, however Viking Ocean cruise was better in service, personalized attention, terrific daily entertainment and no extra costs. Just completed a 15 day trip to Australia and New Zealand. They also provided special attention for our 56th Anniversary. I will travel with Viking for our next cruise.

I’m with Jeb. $3900 doesn’t seem outrageous to me for the service and food. I do think a 3 day cruise is too short though. Even adding 1 day would make this option much more attractive to me.

Great video! Beautiful ship, too. Three-day cruises are just not for us. Day one is boarding, and day three is disembarking for most cruises. We book at least for 7-8 days, as we want a real vacation, not a sprint. Our last cruise was Southern Atlantic Crossing with Viking Venus at 21 days. It was glorious!
I’m sorry but I’ve been on other cruises and I WOULD pay the price to go on this one. When I go on a cruise I don’t care about the entertainment or the food. I go to relax and when there’s so many people that’s kind of hard to do. This cruise looked like heaven to me. I’m team Jeb! 😊

The difference is its a quieter, less stressful atmosphere where you can just relax and enjoy the trip. With the added, delicious, gourmet cuisine! If you have the money. Why not?
