The 2026 Poteat Lecture: Dr. Christa Colyer

Named in honor of Hubert McNeill Poteat, who taught at Wake Forest from 1911 to 1956 and was widely known and respected as a Latin scholar, this lecture series is designed to recognize and celebrate the many achievements of our faculty in research, scholarly and creative work. The 2026 Poteat Lecture, “Beyond Measure: Chemical Analysis in a Complex World,” is presented by Dr. Christa Colyer, James and Courtenay Harton Faculty Fellow for Chemical Industry, Professor of Chemistry, & Worrell House (London) Program Director.
