I took HTML and CSS classes and I donβt remember anything. Do I need to have that memorized or can I just google everything for info?

Disagree, just start anywhere. I do programming and I don't even know what programming path means. I would say start with Python, it's probably the easiest. Then you can learn more over time and what languages are used for what thing, e.g. JavaScript for web. It doesn't really require much more thought than this: what is the easiest way to start?

I wouldn't pursue a career in web development in current times though, it's super competitive and is only going to get harder, because AI will be doing more and more work for you

I am a 15 year old dev, and I've been programming since I was 8. I am very fluent in Python as well as HTML and CSS. I do some C# and JS occasionally, and I am learning C++

Thanks for the clarification. I myself have thought about this a lot and I've decided that before learning about any specific programming language, I need to first learn how to program. So I'm basically learning about logic and some other pseudo-code/programming logic stuff first before diving into any real programming.
