I graduated from a 10month long bootcamp 2 years ago. I built projects, studied leetcode etc. I learnt Java, Spring Boot, SQL, DSA etc etc. Then I wanted to be better to land a good job. Spent time but I was not consistent. I fell behind then I felt time passed I need to repeat some previous subjects. It became a cycle. Going back. I also had a good career as an engineer (different field) but I quit after 3 months into the bootcamp. Because I was so motivated and belived that this was what I want. I lost motivation on the way. I have not done anything past year. Do you think is it still worth it start over? Starting over is more painfull probably and AI was not a thing in 2022 we were still using stackoverflow:) anyway.. should I start over? What do you guys think? Is it still possible especially with a gap on my resume without a CS degree or job experience in tech?

It is worth it for the networking. My first 2 jobs were from 2 different classmates. First was the brother of the bootcamp owner, second was a friend who was actually the bottom student. He was a partner at a marketing agency before that. There were more referrals too after, but I chose not to learn those technologies. It must be of a chill and fun cohort though. If not, networking won’t work. I was in 2 cohort, as I dropped out of one. Absolutely worth it to know people in the class.
