Can a world full of suffering still be the best possible one? In this Short, we break down Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz’s controversial idea: a perfect God chose the optimal balance of order, freedom, and lawfulness among infinite possible worlds. But critics pushed back — especially Voltaire in Candide — arguing that optimism can excuse real suffering. So what’s the deeper question: Is “everything happens for a reason” a metaphysical truth… or a human coping strategy? Watch till the end and decide — if this is the best world, where does responsibility lie? #leibniz #bestpossibleworld #philosophyshorts #problemofevil #voltaire #candide #deepthinking #youtubeshorts

"This world/earth is the best" 😂 That is the most ridiculous shit i have ever heard. There was a flood recently in my area where i am from which killed hundreds and thousands of people Nature is trying to kill us in every way possible, look at diseases, earthquacks, tsunamis etc But thanks to science we are able to combat these things to a certain extent. I olden times people used to die even from a minor disease due to lack of antibiotics and other medicines, we can thank science for that I don't know what mr.Leibniz was smoking at that time that he said this world the best optimum😂
Maybe this is the only world. With heaven and hell all in the same place
Thanks for your explanation
