Critical Thinking Requires Philosophy (here's why)

Education

In today's world, making informed decisions requires more than just gathering information, it demands the ability to think critically. Critical thinking skills are essential for effective decision making, as they enable individuals to evaluate information, identify patterns, and make sound judgments. However, critical thinking is not just about analyzing data, it also involves understanding the underlying principles and concepts that shape our thoughts and actions. This is where philosophy comes in, as it provides a foundation for critical thinking by teaching us to question assumptions, challenge prevailing notions, and think more deeply about the world around us. By embracing philosophy, we can develop our critical thinking skills, leading to better decision making and a more nuanced understanding of the world. In this video, we will explore the importance of philosophy in developing critical thinking skills and how it can improve our ability to think critically and make informed decisions.

Jesus is the full Zodiac , they just broke it up into pieces. He is the complete Zodiac and His Book is mathematically perfect with a 7^7 count and multiple other numerical miracles, while maintaining all cross references perfectly.

I wonder what cognitive tools philosophers used to inquire about the truth. Currently I'm trying to understand how the Socrates method of inquiry and the aristotalian first principles of deconstruction can be used to epistemically approximate the ontic truth.

Chaffees powerful idea (actually Aristotle's idea) that philosophy begins in wonder is classical realism. It's another way of saying philosophy begins not in thoughts but in things. All rationalist systems of philosophy ignore this wisdom.
