Why did ideas like idealism, inderteminism and the immutability of nature remain the dominant mode of thinking in the medieval period? Was it because of the mode of production of feudalism, which required such a mystical intepretation of nature and needed instituions like the church to justify the naked rent and surpulus extraction? If so why do such strands of thinking still dominate in places like Pakistan?

Is dialectics social science or it is also natural science? A few debate that it is only social science.

whatever i am today i am just because of Dr Taimur Rahman. back then we didn’t even have internet and i used to wait for his History of Philosophy program on ptv like crazy… even though it was short it had a deep impact on me. that’s where my interest in social sciences actually started. later on when i grew up i watched his lectures on socialism and that’s when i actually understood what socialism really is. honestly because of that i ended up doing my bachelors in political science in america and even wrote research articles on socialism. Dr Taimur Rahman is my ideal and i really really want to meet him one day.

Thank you letting me learn my FIRST EVER lesson in Philosophy, thoroughly loved it. Based on more than seven decades of observations of how ALLAH initially created, sustains humans, plants, mountains, oceans, lands, animals, and harmoniously maintains the balance in cosmic galaxies and our solar systems, and rest of HIS creations and in the past (AdamAS, Eesa AS, human soul, miracles) have been and will continue to be the result of HIS WILL that includes a mixture of both indeterminant and determinant Divine Intellect. The given but finite Determinant Human Freedom of thought and actions follow after HIS Initial indeterminate divine Will and actions. ???

14:39 Sir, why are people so rigid on religious points? I do not mean only you, but many others as well. How do we even defend religion in the current era? Do we really think God is limited to human-like emotions in the way religion describes, as if He loves and hates exactly like people do, or cares in the same way humans care? How can we claim certainty about things that are beyond human understanding? In such a vast universe, with billions of galaxies and even our own galaxy still only partly understood, it feels strange to speak with complete confidence about absolute truths. Most people are shaped by the religion, family, and society they are born into, and then they inherit those beliefs without questioning them deeply. That is why so many ideas continue from generation to generation. I feel people become rigid not always because they have examined truth carefully, but because they are trapped by tradition, fear, and social pressure. What is often called faith may sometimes be only inherited belief.”
