Iβm Korean Toffees. SΓ©amus, thanks to you, I became an Everton fan, getting up at the crack of dawn to watch the matches, and as an adult, I even went on a trip to Ireland. To me, you will always be number 23 and the captain, and Iβm grateful for everything youβve done for Everton. Whatever path you choose to take in the future, Iβll be right behind you. π ππ€π§‘
An absolute legend of this football club, I dread to think where weβd be without him after some of the tough times weβve had recently. Thank you Seamus π
I will never forget the time in 2015 I brought my son to our first match at Goodison. Standing at the old "players parade" parking lot, waiting to get autographs. While many of the players signed a few then left, Seamus greeted and talked to EVERY SINGLE KID waiting. Stopped for photos. Was genuinely interested in the young fans. He spent his time there, and was the last to leave for the dressing room. This lad is not only a fantastic footballer, but one of the greatest human beings in the sport. Thank you Seamus. If you cost 60 million, and not 60 grand we'd still be chanting about the bargain deal you were.
Shame we couldn't give him a trophy, what a man, humble and a great person. People have nothing but good things to say about him. Thank you, skipper. 60 grand Seamus Coleman.
As Frank Lampard said "One of the best people I've ever met in my life...as a man" The number of times Seamus has been mentioned by others completely unprompted in interviews is a true measure of that. His work with Everton in the Community has also been exemplary - on and off the pitch every inch an Evertonian - and he always will be, hopefully in new roles at the club going forwards. On behalf of all Evertonians - Thank you Seamie ππ
Thank you Seamus. What a player. What a leader! 60 grand πππ
What a true gentleman and a servant to Everton FC heβs a legend I hope we see him back soon best wishes Seamus
This Sunday will be the loudest β60 Grandβ chant, thank you for everything Seamus. Youβre a legend at our football club and hopefully youβll come back one day. Youβve represented our football club perfectly and you gave us everything on and off the pitch, weβll give you a great send off on Sunday and hopefully youβll be playing so we fans can sing, chant and roar your name as a player one past time. ππ
Thank you Coleman for your 17 years in the club.
Thank you Legend for Seamus Coleman.
Seamus gave me one of my fave memories with my Dad. The goal he scored against Southampton in 2013 we were right behind in the Lower Bullens. Going was a present for my Dad before he started his cancer treatment. It was a special day made better by that. Always a legend to me. π
To have the serious injuries he had on a number of occasions, the respect I have for this man is endless. A shame he couldnβt lift a trophy, but he got to live the dream. Seamus, thank you.
Iβm 40 years old, Iβve never cried over a footballer up until this point! What an end of an era! My Captain, My Hero! Goodbye Seamus! Hope to see you around still, after all you are not just an Evertonian you are Mr Everton! You kept us alive when we most needed it and some things mean more than trophies! We know what you done for us!π
Iβm a Liverpool fan, this just popped up on my algorithm. What a footballer. Good luck Seamus. A well known and respected figure in our city. God bless.
