He even starts to discuss about this after where you stopped the clip, but Dan just lies through his teeth on the matter. Idk what really happen, there was news reports of it in the past with a female staff. Dan says it was a dude and it was all cool. Yet his speech tempo changed, he started having word salad and he tries too elaborate more than with the herb situation. He was definitely fired for misconduct but only few people know the truth.

I understand for Dan, but here’s the thing. If the ref stops the fight because someone in the audience or commentary said so, there would be a tidal wave of fight rigging accusations.

The only reason he got fired was cause it was during Covid when there was no crowd and you can hear everything being said by the commentators

His job is not to make sure fighters are protected. His job is to comment on the fight.
